Not clear as to the question.

Are you are referring to the water hammer effect on plumbing pipes when the plumber doesn't install the air cushion chamber to absorb some of the force when the faucet is turned off suddenly and the moving water slams to a stop sending a shockwave throughout the pipes? This force can also shake the pipes if they aren't secured properly allowing them to bang around at the same time.
