My girlfriend thinks she is pregnant and her period was due 3 days ago, should I start panicking? What are signs that she is pregnant? We don't want kids we are only 16, we have always had protected sex but for some reason she is scared about being pregnant. Is it possible for her to take a pregnancy test at a clinic without the need of parents? Thank you.

By the way, we don't plan to keep the child, as much as I hate to say it, if she is pregnant we will abort, I will hate myself for this, but we are in no way capable in raising a baby for now, he parents will kill her if they find out she's preganant and my family will kill me also, I will support her with everything and I will never leave her no matter what.

She could be pregnant but girls have late periods many times. If there's a place around there such as "planned parenthood" she can take a free pregnancy test there. Otherwise she should give it a couple days and if she doesn't get her period she should buy a test at the store. If she doesn't get her period a week after the test then have her take another one.

i know how your girlfriend feels.. wow. I'm only nineteen... which needless to say, is a few years older.. but I was freaking out for over a month. Before i finaly went in to take a test.... i was a bit dumb post poning it that long... so i'd say wait a week or two but dont put it off for forever.. it'll just cause even more stress.. and if she is pregnant thats not good for the baby. I'm happy to say that i am six months pregnant, and i've never been happier. Though very stressful.. when were so young... God allowed it to happen and if the test shows up positive.. be loving and supportive.. and just know... tomarrow will come... and it may just be the best accident that ever happened to you!

yes it is possible. I would go to planned parenthood or just go get a test at the store.( any were from 5-10$ ) I think that if you have used protection( condoms- from start to finish ) you should be ok . If she is on b/c then she might have missed a few and can be preg. I would not panic she might just be late.

Next time double up ( condom and b/c) or (condom and spermicide)

Simply go to the drugstore and buy an early pregnancy test. 3 days late is common, don't panic. If by protected sex you mean condoms, read the package...it's not a dependable form of birth control.

Yes she can but you'll want to wait at least a week after her missed period and maybe ask for a blood test. There are places like planned parenthood that are confidential and can help

It's possible for her to take a pregnancy test in the privacy of your home- all you need is a few pounds for a home pregnancy test.
Make sure she uses the first urine of the day though- that's when the homone is most detectable :)

Sure!

She can go to Planned Parenthood for a free test. She can also get counseling. And, they are sensitive to teenagers in your situation. Their counselors will even help both of you tell your parents if she is pregnant.

Early on I had a loss of appetite, nausea, and twinges on both sides of my belly. I was also exhausted. Plus, I got really moody. My hubby says my mood swings are his key to knowing that I'm pregnant!

don't panic until her period is at least a week overdue. anytime you have sex, even if it is protected, you will always be scared that something went wrong and that you are pregnant. they sell cheap tests a wal-mart.
