I have just logged on to this forum and came face to face with a page of homophobic ranting!
To answer all those small minded people on here, No not all gay people have AIDs we are not all peodos, we have feelings as well as everybody else! Oh and NO I don't think I am going to go to Hell for sleeping with a woman that I love and who loves be back!
Please help me calm down and answer me with some support! Or I will just give up entirely on this forum which is a shame because some people who post questions on this forum really need help and advise!

Most of it is all one person anyway, and I'm sure he likes getting a response like this.
I support you entirely, but just try not to let it get to you - we're better people, and we shouldn't let such hate destroy what can be a really good site.

I think it's perfectly ok to rant. I mean..I'm about to delete my YA account just because all the homophobes on here get so much attention.
As a group however....we should seriously ask ourselves why we keep feeding the frenzy with all the bashers on here. I mean...look down the list of the questions on the gay section on YA...all the ones that are some dumbass spewing his/her crap get the most responses. SO.....that encourages them to keep coming back and to keep up the crap. If WE would just stop responding..and start ignoring...they will eventually just go away.
That's been mentioned several times in here...I don't know why it's taking so long to sink in....I guess it never will. All the legitimate questions get 2 or 3 responses...and the bashers get 12, 13..or more on average. What's WRONG with us..that we need to keep on pacifying them? We are never going to change the bashers mind. They are probably in reality struggling with some type of internal drama...whether it's homosexual or not...they obviously have some kind of serious problem...and what do we do?....just keep on giving them what they want.
Until we stop...the basher's aren't going to stop...just STOP answering the questions...report and move on...regardless of how offensive it is.

Don't delete this question! And absolutely don't apologize! I almost posted a similar question along the lines of: why the crap do these nasty heteros/homophobes feel they have some right to intrude on our safe space for queer discussion? They should have no right to even _speak_ or _be heard_ in this forum. It pisses me off, too. The fact that this intolerant crap is written at all (it should _not_ be written at all) in the queer forum and even in the "culture" forums where blacks are harrassed is testament to a serious, sick hate problem.
Why should we allow heteros/homophobes to take away our only safe space on Yahoo! Answers? Remaining on the constant offensive is the tactic they use to prevent us from growing and learning or engaging in the useful, supportive discussion for which this forum was intended. Why should we be forced to (and even expect to) waste all our time reporting ten people every day we enter this forum?
Some people truly are useless, hateful jerks whose parents let them miss one too many days of school.

Don't give up on this. Normally, this place is full of legit questions. There are just some flamers on today who have never emotionally matured past the "your mama is a poo-poo head" stage. Most gay people aren't pedos, aren't going to hell, and don't have AIDS. Anyone with common sense, basic education and maturity knows and understands this. Hope this helped!

They are only simple minded hateful trolls, don't let them get you angry, they are ignorant, and more likely are gay themselves. Don't give up on this forum, that is what the hate mongers want so they can think they have a right to say even more.

I will preface this by telling you I am a Christian and my bible says homosexuality is a sin.That said my bible also says that your "sin" is not greater than my "sin" and so I cannot very well point you out and say you are going to Hell. I am not God nor do I wish to take his place on the cross in order to get the job of judging others. I also have to say that you should simply loo on this as an object lesson in mind over matter....you should not mind because someone else's opinion should not matter. Yes, there are homophobes who love to bash gays, but if there is just one statement that they can remember from our replies... Just one statement... I personally like Neanderthal. I would really like to see them walk in my shoes for a month and see if they like themselves after words. Seeing how in there wold they are such hate mongers. They probably go to church and listen to the person in charge. They only teach there beliefs not from a theologists view point. They don't read the bible for them selves and try to seek out the answer for themselves. They are lazy and let some moron tell them what to think. Organized religion is great(haha) isn't it.

Ah... don't get upset... look at it like this... these are the same idiots that go on Jerry Springer and shows of the like... their ignorance is entertaining. They amuse me - otherwise - they have no affect upon my life apart from here. I just wish I could see them beat the sh*t out of each other - but - I guess I'll have to keep watching tv to see it.

there are alot of good people on here that give good advice. don't let the bashers get you down, just report them in time hopefully yahoo will block their ip's and we won't have to put up with then
