Reality is an illusion and for the biggest Bush supporters reality is whatever Fox or the white house tells them.
"And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed—if all records told the same tale—then the lie passed into history and became truth. 'Who controls the past' ran the Party slogan, 'controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.'"

Yes, but it is seldom brought into discussions regarding Iraq. And it just goes to show that Bush was bent on going into Iraq even though there were no wmd's.

Thanks for bringing up an important point to the debate !

Yup, I remember. I also remember thinking it didn't matter what they found in Iraq because Bush wanted to take Saddam down. My friends thought it was all bluster, but here we are and there never were any WMDs.

I also remember that SADDAM SURRENDERED BEFORE WE DROPPED THE FIRST BOMB!

Funny how nobody brings that up either.
