of course. people buy time for their cell phone, for parking, for extra vacation days, (time share), when you fly rather than driving, for warranty, for profit or loss, membership, or anything that you pay with time limit or expirations.
for me, buying time means convenience and use to applied as in business or whatever strategy it may serve purpose in life.
