He's a great player, w/ the emergence of Andris and Monta this season he is getting overlooked. His stats are down this season and I think if he was traded to another team where they don't have so many talented players he would start playing to his full potential again.

No. Warriors were playing terrible with him being the leading scorer. J.Rich has talent but it does not translate into wins that make great players great. He still has a lot of areas needing improvements (FT, ball-handling, consistent mid-range J, leadership). For a $60 million contract and a lot of expectations to lead the team into the future, I don't have any reason to believe he is "underrated"....

no, i think he has just the hype he deserves,
he often tends to go with shoot-first mentality.
he shot a dismal 67.3% from the FT line (2005-2006)
plus he gets to the line the 3rd most of any guard, making it even worse
maybe on a different team w/ better player he would become an better rounded player.

probably at least a little bit. richardson is a very talented player but he lacks the ability to lead a team and make people around him rise to his level
