Hi!

Lol. Viruses are written in many languages. I presume it to be C++ (since it has extended features over CPU registry and OS architecture). Some parts may be written in ASM (yucky!) and VB. Also Pascal (or Delphi) or Java can be used.
As a bonus, some viruses use "Shell code" (a special kind of ASM) called by a program written in C/C++.
Any programming language can be used, to some extent, to create viruses.

Today viruses mostly written in Microsoft VB language.

genuine hackers do no longer write viruses. Crackers try this and that they are no longer respected in any respect. purely a gaggle of wanna be script kiddies that don't care how plenty soreness they value. No extra constructive than punks who vandalise properties.
