To the ladies out there please!! I think a lady dressed in long sleeve white blouse /shirt looks very smart goes with anything from jeans to classic skirts just wonderful. Do ladies out there think so too do you wear a white blouse often? Have you had to wear one before at work maybe as part of a uniform even? Maybe with a bow or a tie or do you wear a white blouse in general as a smart fashion item ? Do you like wearing 1 when was the last time you wore 1? I read every wardrobe should have a least 1 white blouse as a must have item. Id love to hear any answers if its fashion work or whatever Thankyou all in advance.

i wear a white dress shirt as part of my uniform. i have another lightly embroidered white shirt that goes with anything. last time i wore it was about 3-4 days ago when i went to the mall.i wore it with blue jeans. i never wear a tie or bow tie out of school.we have to wear a tie at my school. i think white blouses look OK. theyre not a must have, but i definately like mine. it goes with everything!

hahahaha BIG D great answer ;-)

nehoo, no, i think it's gay to wear white blouses as they're just too old fashioned and formal and not really that stylish at all. I mean, if they have like that lil scrumpled up affect in the middle then it shows of figures so then it looks good... if i had like a lil black jacket to go with it then it would look more stylish but it depends on the style of the blouse!! if it's just a normal one then uh uhhhh but they're some ok ones in vogue....

hehe trust me.. i'm a complete fashion icon

i used to do waitressing so i have about 9 white blouses, some long sleeves and some short. i have them in various styles, baggy, tight fitting, and a few which pull in at the waist and make me look very slim, after i gave up waitressing i couldn't bring myself to throw them as they were still pretty new and wasn't cheap so i wear them with jeans, skirts of any size and colour as white goes with anything, i have recently started wearing them with leggings as they are back in fashion now.
the good thing with blouses is they are very easy to wear, very comfortable and look smart if dressed up in a suit or thrown over jeans, the trick is to accessorise with belts, scarfs, beads etc

I wear a white tee or tank top and sweatpants to sleep. They are so comfortable and fun. I never was really into white blouses, they are pretty though. I'm a kid so I don't wear blouses.

It is a thing that goes in and out of your wardrobe- if you wore one as a work or school uniform, you tend to get put off for a while but after a bit one always sneaks back in!

i don't own a white blouse or shirt, have a black , pink and a few other colours but no white. I think it depends on your shape, I'm large on top ( busted) i fill bigger in white shirts which make me fill uncomfortable .
I do agree with you they do look smart just not on me . hope this helps.

i think white shirts are a great place to work off of to get a cute outfit. the last time i qore one was under a lack vest, it didn't look to punk becasue it was a cute classy shirt. most times i just layer my shirts, but i'll put a white tank top on first and then a cute top. Or even a black tank top with maybe a white shirt on top.

I don't wear them very often anymore, but when i was in a jazz band that was part of our uniform, we wore black slacks, white long sleeve button up shirts and ties. I think they look very professional.
