- Sometimes its spiritis making a call for help, they may have unfinished business on earth they need your help to attend to
- The chinese and the tibetans believe that dreaming of someone who has passed away is sign of renewal in your waking life.... ie "Death" of an old unpleasant situation and a rebirth of something... especially if you see a coffin. If the situation your dream was pleasant, the "transition" would be easilly traversed. But if unhappy then before your "new" situation arises, a few obstacles need to be cleared.
- if its a recently departed, your mind could be trying to process the reality of a loved on dying... subconciously and even consiciously missing them
