Are the new MINDSTORMS NXT compatible with the older version (2.0) of MINDSTORMS?

I have a LEGO MINDSTORMS 2.0 RCX ("brain") and a collection of sensors, and I was wondering if the MINDSTORMS NXT can use the sensors from MINDSTORMS 2.0 and vice versa. Can any LEGO users help? Thanks!

Sad To Say, But Classic Lego MindStorms And The New NXT Are Drastically Different..

With The Jump From Bricks To Technic Pieces, There Needed To Be A New Intelligent Brick, Motors, Sensors, And Cords..

Unlike The Older Version, NXT Has Cords Much Like Phone Lines Connecting To And From Motor/Sensor And Brain Brick Unlike The Brick-Like Connections..

Over All, Older MindStorm Fans Will Find Their Old Collection Sadly Quite Useless To The New NXT And Would Have To Get More Technic Pieces, Not To Mention New Cords, Motors, And Sensors And Doesn't Seem Like There's Any Current Way To Change That..
