When I accepted the fact that certain events in my life were results of choices I had made years earlier. It caused me to evaluate my choices a lot more carefully.

When I finally released myself from all my abusive conservative family and my own abusive conventional biological mother and uncared father. Yes.
To me that's really defining moment cuz I finally could be in the absolute control of my own life and be completely in charge for everything I want to do for my own life without letting someone tells you what you should or shouldn't do with your own life, despite all the mistakes you've made. That's my moment of truth in my life ever. My pivotal point.

When I realized that I never stopped loving my first love from 18 years ago though we cannot be together. It helped me understand why I made the decisions I made all of my life. I am now looking back at my life trying to understand what decisions should stand and what I need to turn around.

after my divorce I was busy blaming my ex husband for anything bad.....i was really stuck....then one day in a counseling session, I realized that I AM A FOOL and I laughed for 3 days straight.

Once I realized that I was responsible for my own actions and condition, only I could change it.....so I decided to take charge of ME and I WAS IN CHARGE --no more blaming....just great joy. If I screw up at least now I have fun at it.....lol....in fact, I have just finished advanced degree and got a promotion........smiling.....

the first time my heart got broken. it hurt me bad, but it opened my eyes to the reality of living, of loving.
I am but human, afterall.
