I'm probably gonna get thumbs down for this, but hey it's my opinion and I gotta say that first of all everyone is guilty of making their country what it is.Second Bush does a great job and if people wouldn't let the media poison their minds they'd know it.That war was a necessary evil ( my hubby served in it). After all how many times are you willing to hold up the other cheek.Nobody is forcing food down any ones throat, or tying them to the couch. You wanna make good money...get a better job!

Stop whining and blaming everyone else.

some very good observations...yep I am an American but I feel that if we cannot take a good long look at ourselves and see us as the world see us then we loose a huge chunk of who we are...everyone needs to do some soul searching now and then and so do we as a people...thanks
PS I love Brit comedy but I disagree with you on that...we have some great comedy as well Despite all that I still believe that my country is great...

All reasons are correct and also they wouldnt loose there sense of morality, Morals are leaving as fast as the family structure. America take heed of the Roman Empire as the past is doomed to repeat it'self.

more people would like us, thats for sure. thats why im going to england/ireland with an ambassador group. to break the american stereotype and show other countries that what you see on the news is only one side of the story and to see that there are good people in the US, they just dont run for office.

also our comedy is good. see borat, office space, clerks, and wedding crashers.
