You need to find out in more detail actually what he is doing that they consider being mean to them. Make sure that the are not being abused physically or anything like that, if your are then still seriously worried and talking to your ex does no good involve the authorities and go for custody yourself. The children must come first.

I used to live with my mom and her boyfriend (now her ex). I didn't like him, but she didn't care and moved him in without even consulting me. The worst part: she'd only known him for a few weeks. I ended up moving out...so did he.

If your ex's boyfriend is mean to your children, then do something about it. Get custody and move them in with you. They will appreciate it more than words and get out of a bad situation. Don't wait until he starts hitting them.

Someone needs to be a responsible parent, and since your ex isn't willing to be, then that someone should be you.

maybe its time to throw down.....

there is nothing to say to your ex.... she will stay with him for spite...

there prob isn't much you could say to him, cuz he will prob punch you.... so

bring it on... tell the guy to stay clear of your children and to watch his steps around them.
