Once in a while it gets up to 80 m.p.h., but other than breezes like that, no.
My neighbor's roof took off one night and we never did find it for the longest time. It was in a brushy patch of the forest a mile away, and could only be seen from the air until we found it chasing deer.

It is very windy here in Southern California. During the fall and the start of winter, we have Santa Ana winds which can reach up to 80 mph.... this is a seasonal thing. It is good for the scuba divers since the wind which blows for several days at a time will cause the surf to push out to sea leaving flat, calm, clear scuba diving conditions. The surfers aren't too thrilled since they have no waves to surf. It also cleans the air up for a while.

It's really windy in Lancashire. The kids keep thinking someone is at the door and I don't know what just blew across the back garden but it made quite a din. - Maybe it was one of the neighbours!

Well, Windy City can get windy, although sometimes it should be called the Boiling Pot or the Freezer.

The last really bad day of wind we had here was 11-15-06. I remember it well because I went to the doctor that day. It was a mess...things such as weather themometers blown crooked, staked plastic pigs knocked over. Then come 11-30-06--- we had a trace of snow. This is TEXAS guys, can you BELIEVE that?! I LOVED it!

It's really bad here. My nearest and dearest has just consumed a plate of beans on toast and his, er how do I put it, wind is stinking us out of the house!! All the windows are open ... I cannot hear the wind outside because I am deafened by the blasting volcano that his backside is generating ...

i picked up two sections of my fence this morning !!! so i think you could class it as windy.
the only thing that worrys me is there seems to be bits of brickwork on the floor in between my house and my next door neighbours house, but cant see where its come from. !!!!! will probably find out when it starts raining again !!!!!!
