CD Dvd Burner?

I regularly burn CD,s but today when I clicked to burn a CD I recieved the message " connect to a Burner" This is very odd as I have never had this message and am completely baffled as to what to do!?

check that your burner is connected properly.

well atleast u can try this
Right click My Computer then Click Manage then Click Device Manager in the pop up window and click on the Scan for Hardware changes button [it comes only after if u click on the right side of the popup window , it's icon is a computer with a magnifying glass ]
