At your next session, knock the doc out and dress in his/her clothing and walk out the front door. Make sure you walk with purpose and don't look at anyone. Just keep your eyes straight ahead. Have fun.

In my opinion you should just accept where you are, go with the program, and whenever whoever feels you are ready to leave they will let you out till then try to learn and be what they want and they might let you sooner.

Strangely, most residents of these facilities think they should not be there BUT you gave us NO clues about your situation . . .
Were you trying to commit slow, gory suicide with bulimia ?
Were you trying to feed poison to someone ?
Did you threaten someone with bodily harm because they upset you ?
Did you try to engage in sexual activity with a minor ?
There are lots of reasons people end up having their movements restricted, mostly because they are too self absorbed to care about harm they inflict . . . but since you omitted details (something guilty persons often do) . . .

Obviously someone thinks you should be there. You don't get out! You work with your doctors until they decide you are okay to function in society without putting yourself or someone else at risk.

You tell your boyfriend in England to get you out through the small window in the lunch room.

Simply tell them you want to leave. There is no such thing as involuntary inpatient treatment....unless you are there as an alternative to prison.

I think you should be there
You don't want to go out and then go to jail for killing someone
You think that means you should be there
