You wouldn't dare change history, the consequences would be monumental and catastrophic.
Take for instance the idea to kill Hitler when he was a baby. Sounds like a very riteous more, for after all he caused the jewish holocaust.
Consider the possible consequence. You kill Hitler as a young child, years later, say 1933, Ernst Roehm instead becomes dictator, in mid 1930s, HE decides to begin 'heavy water' experiments which lead to the first nuclear bomb built in 1939. With that device, he easiliy defeats mother russia and the allies, and the Final Solution is 'completed.'
Your mistep in the space time continuum caused the death of ALL European Jewry and enslavement of half the planet...way to go!....you should'a stayed home in bed where it was safe and leave the living to others..

I wouldn't want to change anything because I'm the sum of my experiences and if history changes, so would my experiences.
Still here on my major and minor choices of things that could stand changing:
1. Henry Tudor dead before he took the throne and Richard III completed his reign. This would mean no Henry VIII, no Elizabeth I, no Mary Tudor or King James Bible. However, I think the end result would only be slightly skewed.
2. No Challenger disaster. That wouldn't have much effect at all since a similar disaster would probably happen later. However, the deaths of those seven astronauts, esp. the teacher, had a profound impact on America's school kids.
I TAKE IT BACK! There are two things I would do which WOULD have a major impact on American lives today, but not affect older generations.
1. Teach election workers in Florida to clean the chads out of the machines during an election. This might cause G. W. the election. No Bush president = no Iraq war.
2. I would leak the Patriot Act to members of Congress between the date it was written (January 2001) and before September 11, 2001. I would warn them that this bit of legislation is sitting in a drawer waiting for a major terrorist act (not what the act would be) and they should read it and go through it now and not after the attack because it will affect the lives of all Americans.
Yup, the Patriot Act was written in January 2001. It wasn't handed to members of Congress until after 9-11 and it was passed in a hurry and without proper reading. That's something that could stand changing.

I personally would want to try and change the beginning of World War Two. I would rather have seen someone just be able to take Adolf Hitler out and his cronies. Because after one completely disassembles the higher Reich, then everything would just come tumbling down. So many innocent people died when they didn't have to.

I would have not let Gorge W in to office. If Gore were president think of how wonderful life would be. We would all have health care and cheap Eco friendly fuel. I would feel secure enough in this country's future to have children.

I would go back in time and make sure that my grand father invests a lot of money in companies like IBM.
You would do the same; you're no mother Theresa.

Nothing! I think i have to focus on our future, because things happens for a reason and one reason i know is to learn from those things that already happened and serve it as a lesson.

I would try and stop the enslavement of African Americans. Because of this they still face racism and prejudice even to this day.
