hey there. Im from the UK and iv just finished my application to UCF in the US to study for a bachelors degree. I have had my credentials evaluated and have a GPA of 4.0, a high school diploma and A levels equivalent to one year of undergraduate study, all with grade A. I have commendations from my high school principal and some really good recommendations from teachers. My only downfall is that i took the SAT, for which i had about 3 weeks to prepare and i scored 1580/2400. Which i think is below the average for UCF. Do you think this means i have no chance of getting in? I have literally no time to retake the SAT and its pretty hard to do it over here as the test centers are few and far between.

I think that coming from another country, you will be taken into consideration differently than American students. The SAT might not apply as greatly, since it is an american assessment, and your other grades are good. I wouldn't worry about it. I got 1610, with no preparation, and school guidance department said it was good enough to get me into 95% of colleges.
