We've been told that Castor Oil can help, and the alternative is LIQUID PARAFFIN. Will the Liquid Paraffin possibly do the same job to possibly start labour?

Never heard of that being used.Castor oil I've heard of but in all seriousness the best things to induce labour is sex(due to seaman containing some kinda hormone that thins the cervix )

Do you even know what liquid paraffin is??? It is a liquid form of wax, why on earth would you ingest that!!!!DO NOT use any herbs or oral remedies to induce labor, such as blue root (can be toxic to your baby) or remedies such as the castor oil and orange juice. Although that can work , the reason it does it because it causes diahrea, and the anus muscles to spasm, which may in turn cause the uterin muscles to spasm from the pressure. So even though it may spur labor, you would have diahrea during, and not just be pushing out a baby, yuck. i have heard of castor oil, but never ever liquid paraffin. kinda gross sounding. anyway what i did to start labor 4 times was exercise.. not just walking. anything that makes you sweat.

The pains you will get will feel like you are in labour, but Don't go there! Labour will not start! It's just another Old Wives Tale.

The only thing caster oil really does is give you the sh**s. Sorry probably won't help =(. Try stimulating your nipples. Here's an address to explain:

Dont try any substances to start labour......sex is fine its natural, but you dont want to interfer with nature its not safe in most cases. And anyway when the baby is ready to arrive you'll know about it....trust me!

Thats what we were told, someone else said get having some sex and some one said a long walk and someone else said a curry but we chose the caster oil like you.
well, she did.
didn't work.

I can't tell you if that will work. But try as much sex as possible. Something in sperm can trigger your labor to start.

i wouldn't use the oil its supposed to be dangerous for the baby. nothing worked for me with both my pregnancies they will come when they are ready.
