It could be bad gas, or the timing is off on your distributor. Run the car low of gas, full the tank and then add a carburator cleaner see if it clears up. Then check the timing if it doesnt go away

a clicking noise? for my 2001 dodge neon, i'd hear like a thud when i gased it, and it turned out the car was leaning on one side of the suspension and i had to realign my steering and such.. are you sure its not something in the car thats making it? maybe a water bottle in the cupholder? if your worried, then have ur dealserhip lift the car n check it out

Low oil. It could be valvetrain noise from lack of lubrication and/or excessive wear.

Under the hood or under the car?
Check your engine/motor mounts...Tranny mounts too.
