It really small stuff. One woman is working with a Genetic Gold plated nano theory. What she trying to do, is develop a small nano that can be injected into the blood and it will attach itself to cancer cells. Then using ultrasound or something along those lines, the gold is heated to a point it will burn up and kill the cancer cells. Pretty cool, if, she can make it work. I not sure of all the details, but, this off the top of my head from what I read about 1-2 years ago. So, nano technology seems to have promising applications in the Medical field. This all I really know.
I found you a few sites below and there many more.

nano-technology is cell sized robots
this can be good for diegnosing illness or even early warning system to cancer and other terminal sickness. also one sci-fi theory that is actualy plausible is that it can help with chryo-freeze deepsleep technology. nano-bots could be programmed to repair damaged tissues such as ligaments (making for an ultimate athlete) and other bodily tissues. with the deire to go deeper into space we could injct nano-bots into a crew on a shuttle or some new hightech ship. and then freeze the crew on a timer. when the timer goes off it defrosts and any damaged tissue would be repaired by the nano-bots.
plenty of other applications but those are just the two or three i like the most

nanotechnology involves microscopic machines that could be injected into your blood stream to possibly do things like repair DNA and make repairs to cells and things like that.
