Every job should be open to every qualified applicant, irregardless of sex.

And that's not just my opinion, here in America THAT'S THE LAW (Title IX, Civil Rights Act of 1965, as amended).

Both men and women should be eligible to apply for nay job, unless there is a bona fide (legitimate reason) to limit a job to one gender - for instance, an egg donor has to be a woman because she has to have ovaries, or a waxing technician at a bikini wax salon should be a woman since she's going to be touching women's private parts all day.

Also, a strip club patronised by men has a right to only hire women strippers and a movie studio has a right to only hire male actors for parts written for men.

Other than that, there's no reason why a woman can't be a carpenter, firefighter or US Marine Corps officer - and there's no reason why a man can't be a nurse, preschool teacher or secretary.

I would imagine that if a female model were needed, it would probably be better to fill the position with a female. Same thing with strippers. But seriously, no. Whoever is able & willing to do a job should be able to get the job. And, men shouldn't be deciding what jobs women are capable of doing. And vice-versa.

No; actively doing that is just going to cause problems. If a job does end up being better suited to one gender then another, then more of the said gender would just end up more likely to be there; a rule is unnecessary. You can't exclude however small the percentage of the other gender than can do the job just as well through that technicality. Even the crazy examples. I mean in whatever messed up situation a woman can give sperm, why not?

Only women should give birth and breastfeed their young. Only men should urinate standing up. That's about it. With technology going the way it is these days, those jobs may be in serious jeopardy.

the only job that i know of should be the bathroom cleaners.

men should clean after men's room and women should clean after women's room. to avoid embarrassing situation or moments. plus we don't want the other gender knows how each other treat the room towards delicate matters. then, we don't want to expose each other gender bad habit that we usually take to work.

but then again, i have idea about the gynecologist, it should be preferably a female doctor since she can relate herself to the patients. how on earth a male doctor can tell you about female "issue" if he didn't experience it himself? like the monthly period, the pregnancy, the birth, menopausal stages and among other syndrome that belongs to female world. some women is uncomfortable to have a male doctor, i think im just feeling their discomfort.

regarding men's job, i wish women would not hurt themselves to carry or lift heavy loads. i know we can do practically everything that men can do, except not realizing their own health hazards, i feel that they should not exert themselves too much.

Not a chance. People should be hired based on their capability to perform the job.

Working with small children (preschool or kindergarten) is a better job for women. Women are less threatening to small kids. They have the ability to sound more kind and loving to children.
