i say just wear it! if they make fun of u say u bought it first. or you could add some other bracelets to make it blend in, so maybe they wont notice it.

You will never win with your school mates, even if you did buy the most unique and individual item on the planet, someones bound to give you a poke about it.
This bracelet is obviously available to anyone and everyone in stores, it will likely to get sold and chances are there is more than one owner with this particular make in school than you.
You are not a copy-cat for buying it second, third or fourth. Why avoid things you like simply because tom or jane in your science class has one?
Ignore their behaviour and get on with being you.

im pretty sure u two arent the only ones with that bracelet. for example, the livestrong bracelet that was popular a year or 2 ago- everyone had one on; everything is made in large quantities.. unless you are talking about some $250,000 bracelet.. you shouldnt be worried at all.
go on and rock the bracelet!

they didnt break the mold when you and the other person bought it. I am sure there are thousands of others with that same bracelet

why don't you paint something cool on it, like flowers, or splat it. Then they can't make fun of you if you got it for a different reason.
If they still make fun of you then the are really lame!!!

can you change it alittle to make it different, like add some color or change the string to leather
