i have rung it but no answer i have a feeling its my ex messing about? so he knows i try to ring back and does not answer withheld nums

Yes there is, get on good terms with a local copper, they can find out that kind of stuff in minutes.

lillypops, just post the number and i'll ring it, he wont be recognise the number and the last thing he'll be expecting is some psychotic hairy arsed bloke ringing him :)

As of yet, no there is not. However, certain details can be learned about the origin and provider of the number. Check out http://www.fonefinder.net/ . Type in the area code and first 4 digits of the cell number, and you can see city and provider for the number.

Get someone else to phone the number and ask for your ex- by name. That should tell you if it her `phone number.
