the heater core can be bad even if it is not leaking yet. (happened to me) Have you checked all the fuses and wiring? Maybe you could purchase a repair manual for your car at a local parts store. Good luck.

There is a damper door that is part of the duct work in your HVAC system whose purpose is to move the door from the heat position to the cool position. My guess is that the damper door is jammed or that the servo motor has gone bad with the door stuck aimed at the AC evaporator and therefore no air is blowing through your heater core.

Try to get a shop manual and you will have a better idea of what I am talking about.

Good luck!

..unfortunately..your question generates a few more..heater core=heat. does your fan blow? ..you may hear it, but is it effectively blowing the air from the core? if it does..then does the water actually flow into the core? i bought a car once that the former owner had re-directed the hoses AROUND the core, an easy leak-fix for him, and no heat for me! have you had any water-flow issues, such as overheating? in other words, do you have ample water in the cooling system? less water can greatly lower your heat output .also note: different temperature thermostats make great differences in heat output. check your parts store for any higher temp thermos..might just be that simple. good luck

Heater core doesn't have to be dripping to be bad, it could be plugged.

one is it blowing at all? turn on the a/c and check. if it is blowing, next watch the guage for your engine temp. it will not blow warm until the engine is warmed. if it is too cold for your engine to warm up....( i've had that one happen) beer box in front of the radiator. *that's one beer box, you cannot cover the whole radiator* have fun....
