I want to change that location but seem not to be able to do so. How do I change the location to where I live which is 1000+miles away? I went thru verizon central help and they couldn't change it. It appears to be a default setting? Verizon is not helpful on line. Help.. ltlabner

those weather things are usually about the same as spyware and a browser hijack imo ... i would get hijack-this and nuke it altogether myself ..

I assume you are on a PC or Laptop and using your cell phone for your modem. ? If so, bring up Yahoo Home page, do a search on weather for your home town. When you find this, copy(first select it) (Cntl + C)and paste (Cntl + V) the URL into your home page. That is under Tools, Internet Options, and then paste into the first box of the window where it says home page.

I tried to look at several combinations of yahoo/verizon, only to hit a roadblock. So, try this link and check the help menu on the left. It may have some answers for you.
