it doesn't show you ANY of the original cards the second time round, it shows a completely different set of red and black 'face' cards - trying making a note of them before and after and you'll see that none of the original cards are shown afterwards.
so while your card has been taken away, so have the rest too.
you just don't notice because black/red queens can be switched around without anyone paying close enough attention.

I could not see the presentation you gave. However,I believe I have an answer. Write the cards down to a piece of paper. And, at the end, compare the results. You might be surprised!

Very simple, actually all the cards are changed includiing the one you thought! You get the impression that all other cards are same
but actually their color and value remains same while suit changes.
