Looking for ideas on CDs to get for my father for Christmas. I might me interested myself too. BTW, he likes George Winston, but he already has alot of his albums.

Unquestionaly the best of our time is Marcus Roberts. He started playing with Wynton Marsalis, but then went solo. Any of the three albums below are fantastic solo piano CD's. His music is more emotionally dynamic than George Winston, so I'm sure your father will love what he hears.

Well ,Im not sure if anyone else will agree with me, but i have always likes Yanni...and then there is Norah Jones...they both play piano...,Norah sings though where I dont think I have ever heard anything from Yanni.
