Old joke: How do I get to Cleveland? Answer: Don't go. But maybe you really MUST go to Cleveland.
If you have Safari on your Mac, use it in place of Internet Explorer or use it to download Firefox and use Firefox in place of Internet Explorer. It can import all your "favorites" from Internet Explorer and it takes about two minutes to get used to it. You should be warned that Internet Explorer, whether for Mac or Windows, is not very secure so it is a risky way to surf the web. If you still want to keep using Internet Explorer, you will need to fix it or reinstall it as follows:
Open a Finder Window and go to Users/yourshortname/Library/ Preferences/Explorer
and trash everything from that Explorer folder except favorites.html and then logout, login, open Explorer. If that fails, you will need Pacifist (http://www.charlessoft.com/) that can extract Internet Explorer from the Mac OS install CD. Don't reinstall Mac OS as you may have updates that will be wacked out by the old version of installation.

Well, my friend, you have several problems...#1) you use a Mac!
#2) you use Internet Explorer!
First, IE is a WINDOWS application browser not for Mac unless you are using the outdated IE for Mac.
You did not say which Mac OS you are using.....new computer?
Old computer?
Your question cannot be answered without the proper information!!
Try checking out the Wiki here.....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Explorer_for_Mac
Good luck, you'll need it!
