The answer depends on what a person is using.. I like MS because that is what I am used to. They both have their good points and bad points just like anything else.

Mac. The Mac O/S is the only desktop O/S that M$ fears -- M$ actually worries that Apple will allow it to be ported over to a traditional PC, and that day is coming soon.

A MAC has definitely a better OS and hardware performance. However in terms of support and cross compatibility and range of software for the OS ...Miscrosoft is better. And also the price.

MICROSOFT
Bill Gates had to pump a bunch of money into Apple to keep them from going under. If they went under, Microsoft would be a monopoly. Microsoft is huge compared to Apple.
