Actually after six years of W.Bush, there isn't a darn thing he could do to win the "love and support" of all Americans. The damage is already done and it runs way too deep. He could fire Dick Cheney and then resign, but the anger would still be there. All that he's done can't be forgiven. It's interesting though because there for a brief time he had the support and respect of all Americans, right after the 9/11 horror. And he threw all of that goodwill right out the window.

ArkieBoi above wrote that "If he gave all liberals 1 million dollars, they would complain..."
Well that's because with some people, you can't buy love and respect. The wealthiest 1% of the population and large corporations that got tax cuts excluded of course.

He doesn't need nor care if ALL of the Americans love and support him! Thats what I like about him, he has a purpose, and a mission and he's focused and it doesn't matter if a bunch of liberal/demo's who only support their own selfdestructive bunch. I also think there are a whole lot of people that do love and support him but the media wants to keep it a secret.

A few things:
1- Keep his promise to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, against all enemies - foreign and DOMESTIC...
2-Actually read the New Testament, especially the parts where Jesus speaks of tolerance and compassion
3-Tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
4-Grow up. Maturity means admitting your mistakes and accepting responsibility for your actions.

This complete about-face would earn him my respect...

It will never happen.GWB could end the war, make peace in the middle east, dis-arm N Korea and Iran, solve world hunger, ALL of the problems in the world and Liberals would still whine and cry and sniffle and boo hoo about something!

Look at answerman, what a great tolerant liberal wanting our Prez to die! Typical........

Impossible. If Mr. Bush brings our troops home too soon, he will be appeasing the liberals, and he will anger his constituency.

You can't please all the people all the time.

EDIT: Apparently some of the answerers have failed to notice that some people support Bush, and we are part of the "ALL Americans," thing.

He coud resign, he has turned this country into a divided nation where he finds himself on the side of the minority of Americans. He has an approval rating of 30% so can only unite this country behind him if he brings about world peace; Bush bringing world peace is laughable.

Exit Iraq quickly [and Afghanistan later] with tail between hind legs. US should vow to never get involved in such unjust wars. Consider moderation in their support to Israel. More than 90% of militancy and terror attacks will be eliminated with these measures. All Americans will surely love him if He achieves these by the end of his term.

Nothing, no matter what he does the Democrats will piss and moan about it. If he gave all liberals 1 million dollars, they would complain about having to carry so much money all the way to the bank.
