Can someone point me to any resource that gives info about producing Oxalic Acid from Sugar cane? A process flow diagram or a description - anything will do.

Oxalic acid is a by product of Sugar industry and I'd appriciate any other related info. I have finished following google searches. Thanks a lot !! :)

Oxalic acid can be made in the laboratory by oxidizing sucrose (sugarcane sugar) using nitric acid as an oxidizer and vanadium pentoxide as a catalyst.
