Sadly, i believe Michael Jackson's 1983 album "Thriller" is the best selling one. It overtook the sales on Simon & Garfunkel's 1970 album "Bridge Over troubled Water" for the best selling album.
Piunk Floyd's 1973 album "Dark Side of the Moon" managed to stay on the Billboard Top 100 album chart for almost 20 years. I don't think the Eagles came close...although think Hotel california was their biggest album.

thriller by michael jackson has sold over 104 million worldwide and is number 1 all time. eagles is number 1 in USA just beating out Thriller.

Thriller's achievements are notable as it is one of only three albums to remain in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 for one full year (along with Falling Into You by Celine Dion and Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette), spending 80 consecutive weeks in the Top 10.

It was Thriller for years, then at one point the Eagles Greatest Hits surpassed it. I would assume the two albums are neck and neck at this point in terms of sales. I haven't heard an update in some time.

I think you're right, The Eagles Greatest Hits. That's what it was when I heard it a couple years ago anyway.

Youre right they sold over 28,000,000. Eagles; Their Greatest Hits
They did better than child lover Micheal Jackson with Thriller which only sold around 26,000,000. I think you can get more answers here......
