Washing is the only way to remove a vomit stain and its odour. If your item is dry-clean only, it will still have to be washed. With washing dry-clean only items, there is a risk of colour bleeding and shrinkage. I would not recommend the bleach, regular detergent should do the trick.

There is a biological enzyme that they sell at pet stores for cleaning up feces, urine and vomit. It is sold for pet stains but will work on any biological odor. The bleach will probably ruin the loft of the down. and the water from the wash for certain will. Just spray enough of this to dampen the fabric and pour a litlle directly on the area that has the majority of the odor. It has enzymes that will literally eat the bacteria that are causing the odor. Good Luck

I absolutely have a down comforter and that i wash all of it the time. after I dry it contained in the dryer i put in tennis balls this facilitates the feathers spread decrease back out with the help of the comforter. I absolutely have an really great washer and dryer although. If yours isnt great ability - you may want to take it to the laundry mat- they have large washers there. My comforter does no longer have feathers- purely down, so perhaps call a dry purifier and make effective it would want to be washed. I absolutely have washed my sons (feather and down) contained in the previous even if that is a twin length- it change into superb - yet a range of of feathers were contained in the washer at the same time as i change into performed. the different element i opt for to inform you is in the experience that your comforter isnt baffle field it's going to be exteremely puzzling, if no longer no longer a possibility to get the feathers decrease back - they have a tendency to shift to the sides at the same time as washed- and the dryer doesnt get them decrease back proper in any respect - the tennis balls help.

Hospitals, like the VA have a spray that does that, they purchase through agents, but you can find out where to buy it, and other useful products, like a spray on to remove the sticky stuff, that remains when labels are taken off.

Have you tried Nature's Miracle? It's sold in pet stores to remove dog or cat urine and other pet odors - works really well.
