People, I'm not asking about George, I'm asking about the republican party's chances of regaining any branch of government.

Yes and he will solidify the dems control of the House and Senate because many of the republicans that will be up for reelection supported the Presidents actions and Iraq and there will be political consequences if the quagmire that is Iraq is not resolved.

The 08 elections will be decided by what the democrats do between now and then. Movement of the country in a positive manner will enable them to take over the entire national government. If they fall into the trap of gridlock politics the Republicans will regain control. Bush is all but history and will not greatly effect the 08 election.

It is not the obligation of a sitting president to pave the way to political victory in a future election. Perhaps a more important question, in terms of the future of the country, would be to ask if the words and actions of those running for office support or undermine the efforts of the current administration to accomplish the tasks the electorate require of them, such as securing victory in war and domestic security and economic stability. It would be a terrible shame for politicians to put their own ambitions ahead of the good of the nation. It appears that there are some who can only envision their own success in terms of the failure of the country. It is laudable to come into office and cure problems, but when office seekers create the problems, there is no honor in the process.

Nope.

Actually with the House and Senate barely in control of the liberals that increases the possibility the Republicans will win another term for the White House.

That and the fact the liberals are going to nominate the Clintons again.

I think the Republicans most likely will return to the majority in one of both houses.

a lot of solutions... dude you're very youthful. do not say that "i'm a pupil so i are not getting time for something". you have each and all of the time. eat even though you prefer to. basically circulate outdoors in night and play some outdoors video games. specifically soccer, Badminton, Cricket and so forth and so forth. Play as much as you could. Play soccer daily for an hour or 2 and you will see the ameliorations.

President Bush is not running for president in 2008 or any other time in the future. He is finishing his second term, his limit. The Demon-rats are threatening to lose the war by continuing to meddle in the running of the military operations! What part of leave the war to the professionals don't they understand?

We will most likely get a Democrat President. Most people including us old retired soldiers are fed up with the way this war has been fought and how it has now become a civil war between the Iraq people. Bush has done nothing more than get many of our military folks killed and thousands wounded including many who will never walk again.

We hope so. Bush, Chaney, and Rumsfeld have set the perfect example of "Incompetence" and Chaney looks like he's "Incontinent" and Rummy, well he's gone already.
The Republicans have shown us their inability to serve the people in a responsible manner. They have failed terribly and put us in harms way in the world.
