my sis recently gave me, a TMobile nokia 3390 which seems to look a lot like my nokia 3310,but i live in india and when i tried to insert a SIM from Idea,it said that the SIM card is not accepted.plz help

the phone might be locked by the service provider which is tmobile that's the reason why you can't use the cellphone in india, I am not familiar in your place but if there's a place where you could unlock the celphone then that solves the problem,try to go to cellphone retalers maybe they unlock cellphones,goodluck
