Hello!!
I am wondering if I should buy a christmas present for my best friend at school, who has been a very good friend to me since May and whom I appreciate much. We are very close. Only problem is, he is a guy, and I'm afraid giving him a gift would be sending him the incorrect message that I like him more than a friend. I also have no clue whether or not he is getting me a gift, and don't feel comfortable asking. Should I just skip the gift? What if he gets me one and I don't have one for him back? Any insights, gift ideas, or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Giving your guy friend a Christmas present would be a really considerate thing to do and you really dont need to worry about it. your friend would really appreciate it! and go with a gift card to a store you know he likes, you can never go wrong with gift cards.

Give him something that will show your appreciation of him being your friend. Tell him that he had been such a great friend and thank him for that.
Although everyday is a time for giving, Christmas is a special time to give and show appreciation to people who have touched our lives.
I could suggest that you give him something that he will use in school, like a book, or a shirt of his favorite color.

Get him a gift.
Nothing too expensive or anything that could be misleading. A new CD, a new book, some leather gloves.
And a Thank you card for being such a good friend.

Buy something. Definetly give it to him if he gets something for you. If not, you decide. But buy something anyway.
