I'm interested in hearing from people who realized at some point that their life wasn't exactly what they imagined it would be. That includes career, family, and social life. Then one day they decided to make a change and saw results in their favor (in a reasonable period of time, maybe months) and managed to create the life they wanted. How did you do it? Please provide details.

The first thing is to examine your dreams, what do you want your life to be.
Second, examine what your life is now.
Third, Make simple short term changes that can put you on track, for example if you want to pull yourself out of debt and move to Hawaii to live then first you would control your spending, pay off debt and then start saving. In a matter of a couple of years you could move.
Most of all it takes discipline, you have to sacrifice if you want your dream life, but believe me it can happen.
I went from being in debt to having a good life with money in the bank. The key is discipline and organization!

I had to change my life. It was either one way or the other. Make the most of the time that I have available and try to meet people bring a smile to their life if possible.
Do the best that I can and be as nice as I can. Its something that I feel I have to do for myself .
We are all here for a certain amount of time.
If you feel that you want to make changes they can be done. It may take a while to make these changes but maybe making those changes are for the best.
I have been diagnosed with an illness with which there is no cure. What I can do is either mope around or try to be the best kind of person I can be.
I dont' want to waste it on moping around I want to meet people be kind be nice be helpful and most of all do what is the best ... I Don't know if I am going to do all of these things but I sure am going to give it a good try.
Being kind is my first and formost ambition. being helpful if I can while I can.
being useful, offering up my life while I can
Change is a decision that is made within and then you go for it and give it the best shot ever.
Happy thoughts to you
I feel better about my decision on what I want to do.

Well,I'm 14...Through many years I've been a very good student, but I really needed a change in my life...Of, course, my marks are the still the same, but I started to talk with a special person(it was a classmate), using the mobile phone, in the middle of the classes...Yes, I know maybe it's crazy... a smile appeared on my face every time I received a message from him...It's something special that cannot be described....The relation with my teachers remained almost the same, but I feel something has changed ....However, I'm proud of this...and I don't feel sorry at all...That sure was a miracle for me...P.S: my form teacher said to me:''Gianina, how could you do that?''...well...

Changing your life comes the desperate need to get out of what you put yourself into and make a positive difference for yourself regardless of the sacrifices you may have make to get there.
