If there are two lines, no matter how faint, you are pregnant. The line can only appear if there is hCG levels in your blood indicating you're pregnant. The reason it's faint is because you bought a generic pregnancy test or because you're less than two weeks pregnant. I'd call an OB doctor on Monday and schedule an appointment. They may have you take another pregnancy test at the clinic. Be sure to take prenatal vitamins now if you're not already. You want to have the healthiest baby possible! Good luck and congrats!

Didnt you read the instructions? The tests come with instructions printed on the box, and on a sheet inside the box. Tehres even a hotline to call with questions.
Each test is different, but in all cases two lines mean pregnant. Whether its just two lines, or if its two lines forming a plus sign.
Take another test to see if the control line will come in darker, and then look for the pregnant line as well. Or you can wait a week and test again and look for a stronger pregnant line.
Or you can just save yourself all this hassle and go get blood work from your doctor. Then you dont have to read the directions.

Generally speaking, yes. Even a very faint line on the test showing positive is a positive. If you want to make yourself very sure, take another test in a couple of days. Good luck!

You might be.
It's best to go to the doctor & have them do a blood test.
Those pregnancy tests from the drugstore never worked for me.
I even took two of the tests when I was about 1 or 2 months pregnant & 1 showed me a no & the other was very light light lines.
Go to the doc & then you will know for sure.
Good Luck Hun!!

Read the instructions carefully. Are you late yet? It might be a little early to test. Test again...and again if you like. See your doctor, the blood test is far more accurate and can be used earlier. Best of luck.
