I downloaded a file which is VBScript Script File format. Firstly, I didn't know what is was. Then I opened it. All of sudden, all my JPG (pictures) turned into VBScript Script File. All my pictures are lost. I have tried 'System recovery', but it didn't work, can anyone help me please???

In addition to the suggestions above, you should delete the VBScript file. Many bad things can happen to your computer by a malicious VBScript.

Some times what happens is you get a Program and it decides all of a file type will be open in it when you try to open them.
All you need to do is right click a JPG and start fiddleing around with options like " Open with" until you find an " Always Open With" and hopefully that or an option you notice will set all JPG to always open in the program you'd rather they be opened in (probably IE).

Try right click on JPG then open with and chose program that you use for viewing.If JPG opens then you just changed the program that opens that type of file.Right click on JPG go to poperties and click buton change next to opens with label and chose program that you useed for viewing.
