Why does rape give rapists a sense of power?

I find it odd.
And if Yahoo! deletes this question because it has the word rape in it, I'll sue them.

Because they have control over another person. Rape is not about sex, it is about power. They have another person in a position where they have no control over what will happen. They are violating another person's body - that is power.

Because they are controlling someone. And they enjoy that.
