all dirty and worn-out before renting the unit out again in Phoenix, Arizona?? Is it that the people here just don't care much about these things or don't think that they are important?? Why is that?? Are their standards that low?

It is not a trailer park. It is an apartment near central phoenix and the rent isn't low either..

That place is near 27th Avenue and Camelback. It just seems to be a prevalent attitude here for me that people don't really care about things like that... or having a good living condition.

The heater is only useful for about 6 weeks! Why are you complaining about this?! Phoenix has the best winter weather of any place in the continental United States!

As far as dirty chairs, perhaps it's just the place you are renting. Why don't you have your own furniture?

It is because they really don't have to, and they will do the least possible to appease a renter. I have rented in Arizona before buying something and everywhere I have rented, the conditions would get deplorable before a landlord would do something. I am talking hazards and disgusting stuff. You are best to stay on top of it and make sure they replace or fix things right away, if they do not, report them to the proper authority

No, but what kind of idiot uses a heater in Phoenix, AZ? It's not like it gets cold. I've lived here for over 2 years and I've never once used a heater.

As far as the chairs go - either replace them yourself, or complain to your landlord, instead of complaining to Yahoo! Answers. :)

Maybe its time to move out of the trailer park and into a real place.

***PS just kidding. But if youre paying enough rent, its time to start bitching.

27th Ave and Camelback, eh? Welcome to the gehtto. That's why it's dirty and nothing works. Try moving to the east side of the 51 and camel back.
