Physics is a broad field, encompassing mechanics, heat, and electricity. But I assume that you are probably interested in mechanics.

The prior answer suggests a Teeter Totter or a wheelbarrow.

In the Teeter Totter there is a board balanced on a fulcrum. Each end of the board has a weight placed on it, which may not be the same. However, if the position of the fulcrum (or the weights) is adjusted so that the distance from the fulcrum times the weight for each side is equal, then the board will be level.

The wheelbarrow is essentially a lever with the fulcrum at the wheel. When the upward force from lifting at the handles times the distance from the fulcrum is equal to the downward force from the load in the wheelbarrow times its distance from the fulcrum, you are able to move the wheelbarrow.

Another idea, and one that you can probably buy, is the little wooden or plastic frame with 4 or five balls hanging by strings from the frame. When you swing a ball on one end so that it hits the next ball, the momentum is transferred through the balls to the ball on the opposite end, which then swings up. This is a pendulum that demonstrates the conservation of momentum. You could demonstrate the same principle on a pool table, but that might be hard to carry to class. However, you might be able to think of similar examples for your speech.

try something like the scales. like talk about the scale as 1st class-witch is like a tetertotter which has a cd effect and a ma effect, or try 2nd class-which is like a wheelbarrel it has an effect of MA. Ma- Macanical advantage.
put the project together like this take a board but it on a rectoal skale and make it as a tettor totter and then go online and see if they have more on what to talk about but this shoul dgive you a good physics project. Good Luck
