It's not too soon at all. I think it's the perfect time, the beginning of December is always when I start decorating too. Who cares what people think, it obviously makes you happy, that's all that matters =]

As this question is in the 'halloween' category, and today is 12/3 - I think your decorations for this holiday are a bit late, not early. . .
And - if you are asking about Yule celebrations?
Some folks never take them down - so who's to say what's too early?

Not at all! Look at the shopping malls! The only problem, with the holiday spirit splashing so early around, you may tend to spend a lot! So, watch your thinning wallet or ballooning credit card transaction entries!

It's acceptable to put up your decorations anytime after Thanksgiving.

I dont think it is too soon. Some people put their decorations up after halloween. I think it is allright. Its your decision.

Halloween is the best holiday, i had a friend in hs who's b-day was in april, she celebrated it with a halloween theme and we went trick-er-treating in full costume and scared her neighbors (most of her neighbors were warned and some even gave us candy!)

I still have skeletons in my yard and we just put the Yule lights up 2 nights ago. Interesting combo.

Lots of people do it Thanksgiving night. I think December 1st is just right.
