You do realize that by arguing against a rematch, you are discrediting the only national championship your team has. (1996 vs Florida St)

Also, you claim style points, but who did you play?
In the six weeks before Arkansas, who did you play?
# 11 Auburn- you lost
unranked Georgia - you barely beat
unranked Vanderbilt - you barely beat
unranked South Carolina - you barely beat
West Carolina - please
unranked Florida State - you barely beat

Where are the style points?

But at least Michigans only loss came at Ohio State, not to an overrated mediocre Auburn.

Why is it that every person that thinks that Florida should play OSU in the Championship instead of Michigan is afraid to say that they think that the Gators are a better football team than the Wolverines. All you hear is garbage about fairness, conference championships, and games that have already been played. A Championship has always been about the two best teams in the country duking it out for the prize. It seems pretty clear that the nation, including all of the Florida fans here, are pretty sure that Michigan is the better team, but feel the need to inject some kind of 2nd grade mentality about how Championship bids should be doled out. Do Florida fans seriously expect us to agree that Timmy has played with the toy too long so now it's Johnny's turn?

Florida has their resume, and that's great, but they fail the eyeball test next to Michigan. U of M and OSU are the only 2 legitimate heavyweights this year, let them do battle again.

I feel that a rematch with Ohio State and Michigan would give an unfair advantage to Michigan. Ohio State / Michigan is a huge rivalry, and for either team to win 2 games in the same season is near impossible. Secondly, if Michigan does beat Ohio State by say 1 - 3 points, does that really make Michigan the better team and a national champion? I don't think that it does, They would both have the same record beating each other by the same (or close to the same) margin. How could you really claim Michigan the national champs? You couldn't.

Michigan did not deserve a rematch as Florida proved how puffed up Ohio St replaced into. The voters consistently over rank vast Ten and percentgroups. this is power of schedule it is conserving Bama in front of Stanford and Boise St. Oklahoma St. to me is obviously the 2nd superb team interior the league, yet I do have faith that Bama might ruin Stanford in the event that they performed. i don't think of Bama merits to have a rematch against LSU over Boise St however.

Of course Florida fans think Michigan doesn't deserve a rematch. If your team was on the outside looking in you wouldn't want a rematch either. You're just trying to get a reaction out of them.

The SEC always gets burned by the BCS. Michigan had there chance and blew it. Florida is the only team i can see getting a shot. If Michigan gets a second chance it will be a great game but thats stupid, you shouldnt have to beat a team twice to win a championship...according to the BCS. GO BUCKEYES

It really doesn't matter what you say in the question...fact is, Florida is most likely going to get to play OSU in the title game...Despite what you say, they had a tougher schedule than Michigan, they're in the toughest conference and won it, and they got the key win the the end when they needed to....

I would rather see Michigan play OSU and have a close game rather than see Florida get blown out by OSU.

Tell you what why don't you ask your dumb a** conference to add two teams and have a playoff then we wouldn't have this nonsense. The same goes for the PAC-10.
