This may bring TMI to a whole new level...beware...
My boyfriend & I have been having sex for 3 months - on an almost daily basis. He is not too large in size, so I don't think that's causing the problem here, but I don't know.
This has never happened before...
For the last week, every time we've had sex (at least five times, nothing rough or out of the ordinary & no pain...) I bleed.
I'm not having a period - nowhere near time & the bleeding is only there during clean-up (sorry!). It doesn't last any longer than while we are having sex.
Is bleeding common? Normal? An indication of something more serious? Mostly, I want to know some reasons for bleeding during sex...are there any "normal" reasons?
Not being gross - just a little scared. Thanks for sharing any experience you have with this.
And for all of the ridiculous, rude & immature answerers I will inevitably hear from - thanks for stopping by. Now take your 2 points, move on, & smile. I will.

My fiancee and I have been going through this same problem for over 2 years now. She's been to her gynocologist several times, as well as other specialists yet they haven't found the cause yet. Her situation STARTED with the bleeding, but over time other symptoms developed. For yourself, I wouldn't worry about it too much and just make an appointment with your doc in the near future. My fiancee was told initially to use lube (as you will hear too), but we have found that friction is definitely not the cause. Some conditions that can cause the bleeding are Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, certain STD's, an infection of the cervix, etc., etc. Don't sweat it at this point, just see a doc and be sure to explain your situation. Be sure to explain any other symptoms that are new to you, and don't accept "use lubrication" as the fix to this problem. Be sure they do a full exam, and pay attention to any new symtoms that may arise!!
Good luck to you, and don't get stressed out about it. It's likely a VERY MINOR problem that can easily be treated.

You need to see your family doctor or GYN... There are many causes of vag. bleeding after intercourse, including PID (pelvic inflammatory disease), STD's, a structural problem like polyps or fibroids, or even more seriously, signs of cervical or uterine cancer. Of all the advice you'll get from this Q&A board, your best suggestion will be to contact your doc and hope you only have an infection.

This could be just friction bleeding and maybe a lubricant such as K-Y jelly could help. Also maybe his organ is hitting the tip of your cervix and causing the bleeding. I would definately go to the doctor and get a complete check up, just to be safe.

It does not sound like size, but by either something very internal, or, some small tear. I would encourage you to go to your doctor and get examined. Don't worry. There is a simple answer and it will be fine. Put your mind at rest, make an appoinment. You will be glad you did when you walk out smiling.

I don't think it's quite normal, maybe you should go see the gynecologist? Sometimes hard sex can bring on your period, but that's different from what you're describing.

That is not because of his size, there are few things which you can never tell so that is how you can be, may be the bleeding would stop next week.

first check with your doctor. Only " normal reason " is physical irritation which could be because of low or no lubrication. you can see if this is a problem. hope this helps...
