Wash the stained area with cold water and a reasonable to large dose of detergent, depending on how old the stain is. Do not use hot water, as it retains the stain. Then rub, really hard.

Believe it or not..blood stains are one type of stain that react well when treated with warm/hot water.

I would work soap or detergent into the stain by hand (rinsing with hot water)...get the bulk of the stain out by hand if you can. Then wash the jeans alone with the spots pre-treated with soap or detergent. Keep doing this ...using the washer and hand treatments.

((DO not put in the dryer until you like what you see.)) When you put the jeans in the dryer it will set whatever stains are left behind. Good luck!

Cold water and soap. Rub the stain. There are special stain removers out there for blood.

Depending how long the stains have been there you could soak them in cold water. Then if the blood is still I would get something like oxyclean and soak. Hopefully that work for you. Oxyclean works for most stains.

Rinse with cold water, then when you have as much as you can out, spray Shout on the remaining stain & let it sit. Wash normally.
