Hi there honey.
Unless you have a bladder infection, it is very normal. If you had a bladder infection you would have other symptoms so I am assuming that it is just a normal part of pregnancy.
You are right that in your second trimester you should get some relief. The need to urinate is caused by two things, hormones that your body produces in early pregnancy and the way the growing uterus pushes on the your bladder. At some point in your second trimester the uterus starts to lift into the upper part of your abdomen and this will relieve some of the pressure on your bladder. Unfortunately closer to the end of your third trimester there is just NO room and once again that baby will be lying right on your uterus. .....and you think you have to go potty alot now? whew!
Take care honey and feel free to write to me anytime!
Love and Blessings

i have been doing since i was 3 mos. and trust me it only gets worse. the bigger the baby gets the more pressure it puts on your bladder. I will be 20 wks tuesday and I can't go to the store and back home without peeing just get use to it because that baby now has control of your insides and its going to really get on your nerves when you get futher along. and don't worry about showing its coming I just start to show a little and some days I don't show at all it really depends on how the baby is sitting in you uterus. good luck its going to be o.k.

It's normal, especially since at this stage, your bladder is squashed by the baby- it then feels fuller than it is, so after you run to the loo desperate for a wee, this is why you normally only produce a pathetic little dribble.
Don't worry about this!

it should be letting up soon but only for a few weeks. during the last trimester when the baby starts gaining more and you gain more it will be much worse than it is in the first part of pregnancy. i think i got up every 30 minutes during the last month of my pregnancy. but she is well worth anything i went through.

SORRY BUT PROBABLY NOT THE BIGGER YOU GET THE WORSE THAT GETS. THEY SAY THE PEEING IN THE NIGHT GETS YOU READY FOR THE BABY GETTING UP ALL NIGHT. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT DRINK ANYTHING AN HOUR OR SO BEFORE BED AND THAT YOU GO BEFORE BED SO MAYBE IT WILL EASE UP A LITTLE. HUBBY BETTER GET READY FOR IT TOO. YOU WILL NEED HIM TO HELP OUT A LITTLE BIT EVERY NOW AND THEN.

It is absolutly normal, unfortunatly :) Just try not to drink alot before bed, but make sure you drink it back during the day. Good luck, and you should feel a decrease around your 4-5th month.

Unfortunately Frequent peeing will last and last and last... Try not to fill your bladder before you go to sleep so when the baby is laying on your bladder its not giving you the urge
