my husband works for Honda....and he hasn't said anything about any problems at all, but did say he wants one :) hope this helps!

Examine how you drive. If its mostly highway the hybrid technology wont return you any better economy than a regular (and cheaper) Civic. If your driving is mostly stop and go city driving a hybrid will be great.

hybrids are basically 'feel good' cars. they don't get much better gas mileage then the normal civics, and they're more expensive. also, when it comes time to replace that battery, which you will if you plan to keep the car long, it costs about $6000. check out this website about this exact car:
