I bought Neverwinter Nights 2, and my graphics card is apparently, not good enough to handle this kind of superior game.

Are their any updates i can get online to make it run better? Or do i have to go buy a new card? I know i have enough Ram, i have more than enough, but how can i improve my graphics?

(I have an hp pavillion, Windows XP home addition)

You probably have onboard video on the HP pavillion and not a separate video card. You can try to go to HP's site and see if there are any updated drivers, also make sure you have the latest DIRECT X installed, but yea, chances are you will need a decent video card.

I checked that games system requirements and it recommends the following video cards: ATI 9700 Pro or nVidia 6600. These are minimum requirements. If you can afford a better card than these do it.

good source to purchase a new card. Just search the site, pretty good prices there.

There won't be any specific updates for your video card that will make it function better.

Good luck!

I guess it wouldn't hurt to go to the manufacturer's website and download the latests drivers. (you can go to the Control Panel > open the System control panel> click the Hardware tab>click the Device Manager button and get the name of your driver by clicking Display Adapters.

You probably need a new card though. They are pretty cheap:

That one is $30
